People's Tribunal on Police Brutality

The People’s Tribunal on Police Brutality was held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio, on the campus of Cleveland State University. Organized by the local activist group Puncture the Silence-Stop Mass Incarceration, the tribunal gave voice to courageous testifiers who refused to remain silent about their harrowing experiences with law enforcement officers and prison guards. Puncture the Silence is grateful for, and would like to acknowledge, very helpful consultation with Efia Nwangaza, of the Malcolm X Center for Self-Determination, in Greenville, South Carolina, in the initial stages of planning the People’s Tribunal on Police Brutality and the use of its findings.

Puncture the Silence is also very grateful to Faheem Khabeer and Mississipi Charles Bevel for the videography.
